What’s going to happen on Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday 2020 will be held on November 27th. Black Friday 2020 is going to be complicated for retailers this year. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is a shopping celebration: all the prices go down and many people can enjoy the big sales. Many Americans celebrate this celebration because the stores open early and offer various sales. The Black Friday was created by Philadelphia police officers, in the 1950s, to refer to the day between Thanksgiving and the Army-Navy Game.

The retailers not only have the responsibility of creating a safe shopping environment for customers and employees but also ongoing inventory issues that have about as a result of the pandemic. Walmart has decided to close on Thanksgiving, ending a long tradition of kicking off their Black Friday sales on the holiday. Other retailers have also said that their black Friday will look similar to Walmart. Black Friday in this pandemic is a challenge for most because they have no idea how to handle it.

Other stores like Amazon and Target have said that the event might happen in October. Some stores like Target, Kohl's, and Walmart have already decided to keep their doors closed on Thanksgiving, so it’s hard to imagine in-store shopping as we know it gets the green light on Black Friday. Amazon has launched its Holiday Dash event; meanwhile, Best Buy started to release some of its Black Friday deals back in mid-October.

The deal might be better this year. People won’t get to shop in-store sales which means that all of those typical doorbusters will be available online to encourage people to shop safely from their homes. Online black Friday sounds better. Walmart has announced that not one but three black Friday sales will start from November 4th.
